Description
The history of the Pasetti Winery goes back 5 generations. In the 60's, the winery started its own vinification with extremely positive results. In the 80's, Testarossa (which literally means "red head"), the flagship of the winery was born. Today, the Pasetti family still runs the winery. National Park Certified (including mandatory Organic production), premium Montepulciano d’Abruzzo from Gran Sasso Mountain National Park. 40+ year old vines, & 18 months in 500L French Oak.
Obtained from 40-year-old vineyards. Grapes are pressed and fermented for 20 days. Fermentation occurs with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature. After storage of 18 months in steel tanks to facilitate the decantation, the wine ages for about 18-22 months in oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation is spontaneous
