2022 D de Dauzac Bordeaux Blanc
This is Bordeaux’s idea of a breath of fresh air, literally. A bright, elegant white that feels like a morning stroll through the gardens of Margaux, this blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon is zesty, floral, and beautifully balanced. It’s Dauzac’s way of showing that Bordeaux Blanc can be both timeless and thrillingly modern. A blend of 60% Sauvignon Blanc and 40% Sémillon, grown on clay and limestone soils in the Bordeaux appellation. The grapes are fermented in stainless steel vats to preserve freshness, then aged briefly on the lees, with 10% matured in barrels for a touch of texture. The 2024 vintage benefited from warm days and cool nights, allowing the fruit to retain remarkable acidity and aromatic precision. Certified vegan and crafted with the same care as the Grand Cru wines of the estate.
