Description
The Mocali estate is situated to the southwest of Montalcino at an altitude of 350 above sea level. The estate was acquired by Mister Ciacci Dino in 1956. The company covers about 43 hectares, of which, 16 are vineyards. 100% Ciliegiolo. Aged for four months in stainless steel tanks. A beautiful nose of ripe red fruits, mostly cherry and raspberry, with hints of violets, lavender and rosemary beneath the fruit. Bright red robe. The palate is dominated by a lovely round cherry flavour with little hints of the violets and lavender with some white pepper notes alongside the firm but smooth tannins.
