Description
This is a denser, slightly more serious version of the Aneto Red. A blend of the indigenous varieties Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz. Aged for one year in a mix of old and new French oak. Notes of raspberry, blackberry and hints of vanilla, cacao and cinnamon. Smooth tannins that retain an edge that can be softened with an hour or two of decanting if you’d like. Best with pork or poultry, game meat, or hard cheese and cured meat.
