Overview

  • Grapes: Corvina 60%, Rondinella 20%, Corvinoni 20%
  • Area of Production: Hills of Pedemonte, municipality of S. Pietro in Cariano
  • Harvesting Method: This is an excellently structured red wine with a supple body. The technique used in making this great wine is typical of the area around Verona. After the Amarone has been drawn off, the marc remains in the vat and, instead of being pressed; it is topped up with high quality Valpolicella before being left to re-ferment for approximately 10-15 days.
  • Alcoholic strength: 13% vol.
  • Colour: intense red with shades of garnet
  • Aromas: Full with the scent of almonds and fresh walnuts
  • Tasting Note: Full-bodied with an excellent structure
  • Recommended With: White and roasted meats and can be served throughout the course of a meal.
