The Jester, who knew all the King's secrets and pleasures, secretly raised the daughter never exposing his passionate affair. The name BYA was given, based on the Byzantium era, where it was believed that wine from the vines was a tonic for the mind, body and soul as did the King. BYA was denied of her royalty but shined with inner and outer beauty and was filled with a passion for life. BYA was the ultimate expression of love of the vine.
